The London Eye is worth a ride, as you can almost see the entire city of London. Those who want to buy Paddington Bear can go to the specialty store inside Paddington Station, where I found the prices to be the cheapest. The small shops outside or the duty-free shops at the airport are generally 2-8 pounds more expensive. Heathrow Airport's Terminal 4 is not very large, and you can finish walking around in a short while.

Did flight transfer multiple times at LHR#heathrow terminal 5. I guess I learned a few things. Passenger must go through security check after arrival, they seperate these two areas. Sometimes, small security check places are closed, you need to go to the main security check place. What happened to me this time, my arrival area is gate c, however the security check is off duty, so I have to take the transit to gate A, finish the security check, then take transit back to gate c.

The airport is actually a very nice and I has a very unpleasant encounter with the help desk of Singapore Airlines respectively Thai Airways. I have been one of the unlucky passengers being diverted to LHR from Singapore. The staff chattet between themselves and I did need a wheelchair since my flight was closing at the gate. Nobody seem to be interested and a officer then helped me to the gate just to catch the Swiss flight basically last minute. I don't want to go in details but this has been a very unpleasant experience.

#thingstodo Amazing experience flying 1st class with SQ for long haul flights. Before the flight, we are able to check into the Krisflyer silver Lounge in departing airport London Heathrow, special room for first class flyers. When you get in the plane the chief steward will introduce himself and his team will do that as well and ask if they can get your coat. They will explain the trip and offer you champagne (award winning) to start the trip. You can pre book your meal. Expect delicious caviar on board. Delicacy and decadence. I love it. Extra wide seat space with super dedicated service, slept like a baby on board.

#britishairways #heathrow only one hour or so from landing of last flight and the takeoff of connecting flight, I was worried but I made it! A post in the airport indicates there are quite some Chinese travelers.

I fly from Gatwick and heathrow to South Africa on a regular basis and trip.com is absolutely amazing . Quick and easy to book . highly suggest it.
